The killings of 18 members of one family assembled for a gathering last month are among an increasing number of mass shootings in South Africa.

A man was arrested in connection with a mass shooting in East Baltimore in August that left one person dead, Baltimore Police said.

On Tuesday, Capt. Greg Bello of the Rochester Police Department identified a 16-year-old boy as the person who fired a handgun at the park early on June 23. He was apprehended on Remington Street in Rochester on July 21 and allegedly had a loaded handgun on him at the time, Bello said. Police did not release the teen's name.
