No. 1 Texas overcame a sluggish start to easily beat No. 18 Oklahoma 34-3 in Quinn Ewers’ first game back since Week 3. After the Longhorns didn’t score in the first quarter, the game flipped in the second period.

Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers was having one of the best seasons of any college quarterback in America when, in Week 3, an oblique injury flared up. And just like that, Ewers was on the shelf for a number of weeks.

Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers will start the Red River Rivalry against No. 18 Oklahoma, according to coach Steve Sarkisian. Ewers will make his return from an abdominal injury in the rivalry game.  Ewers left the Longhorns' 56-7 win against UTSA after appearing to pull a muscle while making a downfield throw.
