RIYADH, Saudi Arabia (AP) — Jannik Sinner beat Daniil Medvedev 6-0, 6-3 on Wednesday at the Six Kings Slam, an exhibition event for a half-dozen men that awards money but no ATP ranking points and is Saudi Arabia’s latest foray into tennis.

The kingdom is putting on the richest tennis exhibition in history, but its wider ambitions in the sport have contracted.

Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal, who own 46 Grand Slam singles titles between them, will be among the tennis stars competing for the largest purse in tennis history.

The retiring veteran Rafael Nadal is set to feature in the last individual tournament of his illustrious career at the 6 Kings Slam in Riyadh starting on Wednesday, October 16. The Spaniard will play the winner between Holger Rune and Carlos Alcaraz in the semi-final clash on Thursday.

Nadal will skip the quarter-final round at the Six Kings Slam and battle against Carlos Alcaraz or Holger Rune in the semi-final. The 22-time Major champion will end his career at the Davis Cup Finals in Malaga between November 19-24, competing in the national jersey two decades after debuting.
