CLEVELAND (AP) — CLEVELAND (AP) — Sherwin-Williams Co. (SHW) on Tuesday reported third-quarter earnings of $806.2 million. The Cleveland-based company said it had net income of $3.18 per share. Earnings, adjusted for amortization costs, came to $3.37 per share.

The average estimate of eight analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $6.47 per share. The aerospace and defense company posted revenue of $17.1 billion in the period, which missed Street forecasts.

The Greenville, South Carolina-based bank said it had earnings of 54 cents per share. The holding company for Southern First Bank posted revenue of $54.3 million in the period. Its revenue net of interest expense was $23.

The Marietta, Ohio-based bank said it had earnings of 89 cents per share. The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 83 cents per share.

The Auburn, Alabama-based bank said it had earnings of 50 cents per share. Auburn National shares have dropped 5% since the beginning of the year. The stock has declined slightly more than 5% in the last 12 months.
