XI Racing and Front Row Motorsports have filed a preliminary injunction in their antitrust lawsuit against NASCAR, asking to be permitted to compete in the NASCAR Cup Series as chartered teams in 2024.

The teams are pushing for expedited discovery of key documents and argue that NASCAR's practices hinder competition and fairness in the sport.

XI Racing and Front Row Motorsports seek to have three charters each for their current teams — the two that each currently has and one each due to purchase agreements with Ste
