Bank of America, Goldman Sachs and Citigroup will be the next big banks to report results on Tuesday. They follow JPMorgan and Wells Fargo, whose earnings last week were well received by Wall Street.

Bank of America Q3 earnings fell both Q/Q and Y/Y, but they topped the Wall Street consensus, helped by strength in its Global Markets and Global Wealth and Investment businesses.

The Charlotte-based megabank raked in larger fees from its Wall Street operations, but the jump wasn't enough to make up for higher payouts to depositors.
