It's safe to say one former Steeler isn't a fan of trading away the four-time All-Pro Minkah Fitzpatrick — as Plaxico Burress offered a stern warning to his former team following the blockbuster deal with the Miami Dolphins.

The Pittsburgh Steelers have to replace Minkah Fitzpatrick after moving him to the Miami Dolphins in the Jalen Ramsey trade. They signed former Chiefs and Browns safety Juan Thornhill this offseason, and he is the favorite to earn that starting free safety role. Yet, is he the answer to replacing Fitzpatrick?

“Something weird was going on,” said Florio. “I’m waiting for the reports to come out as we get closer to training camp about whatever the issues were between the Steelers and Minkah Fitzpatrick. It just feels like they were lying in the weeds waiting to make this move.”
