After winning two overtime games to begin its first road trip, the Utah Hockey Club closed out the trip with an overtime loss. Leo Carlsson scored 54 seconds into overtime and the Anaheim Ducks won their ninth consecutive home opener,

The Utah Hockey Club started off its inaugural campaign scorching hot with three straight wins, including two in OT. But after a loss their last time out to the Devils in New Jersey, the new franchise is looking to rebound at Anaheim on Wednesday night against the Ducks.

It has been a different start to the season for the Utah Hockey Club and Anaheim Ducks. The Ducks had a light schedule in the first week, playing just two games and owning a 1-1 record. Utah has been much busier after playing their first game in Salt Lake City.
